Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services ("WSS") is a platform that extends the Windows Server 2003 platform. With the main premise to help keep teams connected together and working more effectively. The platform is extremely extensible and can be used to develop solutions to business needs.
Currently in it's third version, the Windows SharePoint Services platform is gaining a lot of attention with many companies.
